And here we go…

Well that was an amazing experience! I can’t believe the response you all gave us! 15 maps, 20+ new subscriptions and we are only a little over 2 weeks into the collaboration! Our artists are over the moon excited with how it’s all gone and we just can’t WAIT to keep the maps coming.

So what next?

1) Firstly, new maps. Each artist will be releasing on their own schedule, but I will upload them mostly on a Friday evening (AWST GM +8:00). The promise is still a minimum of three maps/month… but in reality, with four artists, we’ll be looking at a lot more.

2) Collaboration = quality. We learn from each other. We’re talking about our maps constantly. We show our in-progress builds and get feedback. We help each other out. The quality is going to improve.

3) Your input. Soda tier patrons get input into maps as they are being built. I’m going to start by uploading progress of one of my maps very soon. The other artists are looking forward to it as well! But already we have been looking at applying the input of our patrons who have reached out through the discord channel!

4) Patron Goals! We are ONE patron away from hitting our 50 patron goal. (That came up MUCH faster than I expected!) I am already starting to work on the Renault Farm side quest module that I’ve promised. In that will also come two new maps of the area for you to play with. The other artists have expressed interest in creating modules and MiauArt is looking at a world map for the 100 mark with the creation guided by our patrons!

5) Patron Polls. Shortly, I’m going to release a poll about what you like and what you’d like to see. PLEASE tell us what you think! Look out for that poll!

Finally, in February (it seem like a lifetime ago) I updated the tiers on the patreon to make everything cheaper and packed with more features. If you are on those more expensive, old tiers, I’d advise you to consider changing over to the new ones. The $4 and $6 come with discord access and many of the patrons on our discord are already taking advantage of being able to talk directly with our artists.

Thank you so much for your support. We can’t tell you how much it means to have all of you as a part of our team!

And thanks to our amazing new artists! MimicMaps, SLMumby and MiauArt. I am very proud to be working with you all.

More from us soon. Until then… You know what I’m about to say…

HAVE FUN!
